Terms of Service

The service

MoonStart (https://moonstart.in) is a web application for designing app store screenshots, feature graphics and app icons, plus a set of free browser-based tools. It is operated by Rahul Chauhan as an independent developer.

Your account

You sign in through GitHub and are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.

Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to the screenshots, images, copy, icons and projects you upload or create. We claim no ownership over them. You grant us only the narrow licence needed to operate the service — to store your content, process it to render previews and exports, and display it back to you and to anyone you deliberately share it with via a public project page or a review link.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. Do not upload material you do not own or have permission to use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MoonStart to:

• Upload or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Impersonate a person or organisation, or produce assets designed to pass off as another company's app or brand.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service or its infrastructure.
• Access another user's account, projects or assets without their permission.
• Resell or redistribute the service itself as your own product.
• Use automated means to generate assets at a volume intended to exhaust shared resources.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that break these rules, generally after warning you unless the breach is serious or ongoing.

AI features

Some features send your prompt or image to a third-party AI provider and return generated text or imagery. Generated output can be inaccurate, generic or resemble other works — review anything you publish, and confirm you have the right to use it commercially before shipping it in a store listing. AI features are metered by credits shown in your account.

Plans, billing and free access

MoonStart is currently offered free while in launch. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be shown before you are charged, payments will be handled by Stripe, and you will be able to cancel from your account. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes will not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

Availability

We aim to keep MoonStart running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages or incidents. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product evolves. Export your assets if you need a durable copy.

Disclaimers and liability

MoonStart is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Store requirements change, and while we track them closely, you remain responsible for confirming that your submission meets the current rules of the App Store and Google Play.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or fifty US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using MoonStart and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@moonstart.in. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. On termination, the licence you granted us ends and your content is deleted in line with the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the last revision, and material changes will be signalled in the application. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions go to support@moonstart.in.
