We aim to reply within two business days. MoonStart is maintained by one developer, so replies come from a person rather than a ticketing queue — please be patient over weekends and holidays.
What to include
For anything that looks like a bug, these details usually let us reproduce the problem on the first try instead of trading messages for a week:
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
- The browser and operating system you were using (for example, Chrome 140 on macOS 15).
- The device deck you were editing — iPhone, Android phone, feature graphic, and so on.
- A screenshot of the screen when it went wrong, if you can capture one.
- Whether it happens every time, or only occasionally.
Privacy and data requests
To request a copy of your data, correct something we hold, or delete your account and everything in it, email the same address with “Data request” in the subject line. We will confirm your identity against the account's registered email before acting, and complete the request within 30 days. Details of what we store are in the privacy policy.
Reporting abuse or a security issue
MoonStart lets users publish public project pages and share read-only review links. If you have found a page that infringes your copyright, contains abusive material, or otherwise breaks the terms of service, email us with the URL and a short description and we will investigate.
For security vulnerabilities, please email before disclosing publicly and include enough detail to reproduce the issue. We will acknowledge receipt, keep you updated while we fix it, and credit you if you would like.
